Established in the year 1949 purely to manufacture rolled Aluminum Foil mainly for the tea industry, today we have the capability of supplying printed flexible packaging material using Roto Gravure and Flexo graphic printing technologies for various forms of laminates with foil, film and paper. The annual turnover at Acme Printing & Packaging PLC ( Piliyandala factory ) is around US $ 5.5 million (approximately 1000 tons).

We have setup a fully owned subsidiary named Acme Packaging Solutions (Private) Ltd at Makandura Industrial Estate Pannala in Sri Lanka. This factory is equipped with state of the art machinery capable of manufacturing mainly film based flexible packaging material.

We have a state of the art laboratory with testing facilities to check raw materials and products at each stage of manufacture to ensure quality. Our customers include some of the largest companies operating in Sri Lanka such as GlaxoSmithKline, Ceylon Tea Services (Dilmah), Uni Lever, CBL Group, Fonterra Brands, Maliban Biscuits and Maliban Milk to name a few.

We supply packaging materials in the form of printed/laminated reels, pouches, sheets and lids converted out of Aluminum Foil, BOPP, LLDPE, Nylon, Polyester and Paper for the packaging of a wide range of products such as Confectionery, Milk Powder, Biscuits, Chocolates, Snacks, Drinks/Beverages, Tea, Noodles, Soya Nuggets, Processed Meat Products, Detergent Powders, Agro Chemicals, Cigarette Foil as well as the Garment industry etc. We are specialized in handling Pharmaceutical Blister Foil. Presently we export our Pharmaceutical products to Glaxosmithkline Pakistan and unprinted materials for fire resistance Adhesive tapes manufacturer in Australia.
